How it works

Each cartridge layers KDF-55 media with calcium sulfite and a fine sediment mesh, so as water passes through, chlorine and chloramine are chemically reduced and loose rust or particulate gets caught before it reaches your skin and hair. For people in chlorinated municipal water areas, that typically means water that feels less drying and hair that feels less stripped after a shower. It is worth being clear on what this does not do: the media does not pull calcium or magnesium out of hard water, so if scale buildup is your main concern, this cartridge addresses chlorine exposure and sediment, not hardness.
